Hyderabad: A frenzied Saturday night fever gripped the premises of Keshav Memorial Institute of Technology (KMIT) in Narayanaguda when it celebrated its annual cultural fest that saw the participation of close to 1500 awe-struck audience drawn from different fields.

Organised by its Cultural Club, the night was one of celebration not only for those products who brought glory to the institution but also to those who made it to the function.

The biggest applause went to a team of three-assistant professors Fatima and Swapna Bhandari and their student Pragya Kondrakunta, who cornered glory in the recently held ‘Hackadrone 2018’. Their scientifically-woven prototype solution, a drone solution for women's safety, was the runaway winner in that category.

Claps reverberated all across in the shrill night when medal winners from various disciplines like basketball, football and volleyball, were felicitated jointly by Academic Director Deepak Ganu, Principal Dr Maheshwar Datta and Head of Research and Development wing Vinay Patnakar.

Making it enlivening and one that was the best possible stress-buster for the daily grind was the scintillating performances by students of the institute.

The cultural razzmatazz included dances, lilting musical number, poetry recitation and myriad skits, each was which was exemplary. A Yoga demonstration was another that drew loud applause.
