With an aim to create a vibrant Internet of Things (IoT), ecosystem in Andhra Pradesh, ‘AP Innovation Society iBootup IoT Series’, in association with iB hubs, a pan-India startup hub, is conducting a three-day workshop at Madanapalle Institute of Technology & Science (MITS), Madanapalle on Thursday. 

Hyderabad: With an aim to create a vibrant Internet of Things (IoT), ecosystem in Andhra Pradesh, ‘AP Innovation Society iBootup IoT Series’, in association with iB hubs, a pan-India startup hub, is conducting a three-day workshop at Madanapalle Institute of Technology & Science (MITS), Madanapalle on Thursday.

Students will gain insights into the fundamentals of IoT and its applications in various sectors like Healthcare, Education, Agriculture and Retail. The students will experience live demos of IoT product prototypes, and using Octabrix - iB Hubs Hardware Development Kit, they will have a great hands-on experience building prototypes.

Speaking about the vision of iBootUp IoT Series, Prashanth Nimmagadda, Consultant, AP Innovation Society said, “With iBootUp, we are promoting a culture of entrepreneurship in advanced technologies throughout the state and equipping students with all the resources they require to develop themselves. Andhra Pradesh should become a pioneer in advanced technologies.”

Talking about the initiative, Kavya Dommeti, Director iBuild Innovations India Ltd (iB Hubs), said, “iBootUp IoT Series is much more than just introducing Internet of Things to students. It equips them to build their careers in IoT domain and become the pillars of innovation in the Indian IoT ecosystem.” Her team Ms.Thanmai and Mr.Harendra from iB Hubs Bangalore were a part of delivering the training.

Addressing the students Principal Dr C Yuvaraj said, “MITS is happy to host such workshops and also thanked AP Innovation Society and iB Hubs.” He urged students to make use of this opportunity. He also reminded of the importance of IoT in the future and the opportunities that come along in this field. About 114 students attended the workshop. Dr Jagadeesh Babu, Secretary, MITS Innovation Society K Chokkanathan and Rahim Bakash K were present.
