As part of the work education programme, Delhi Public School, Nacharam exposes its Class XI & XII students to a unique Research Oriented hands on experience activity ‘Apprenticeship Program\' every year. Special efforts were taken by the Principal Sunitha S Rao & Vice Prinicipal Nanadita Shunkara in making this initiative a success each academic year.

Hyderabad: As part of the work education programme, Delhi Public School, Nacharam exposes its Class XI & XII students to a unique Research Oriented hands on experience activity ‘Apprenticeship Program' every year. Special efforts were taken by the Principal Sunitha S Rao & Vice Prinicipal Nanadita Shunkara in making this initiative a success each academic year.

The ‘Apprenticeship Program’ aims to aid the students to realise and comprehend the nuances of the actual job and subsequently help them identify their own goals in a realistic manner. It providesstudents an edge on real life experience, increasing confidence in solving critical situations, building team spirit. It is a process to allow students to have a smooth transition from class to the Board Rooms of companies. It allows them to use their knowledge gained in the class room at workplace.

This year too, the students had a choice to opt for companies suiting their career choices be it in the field of Medical education, Pharmaceutical industry, IT/Software, banking, insurance sectors, hospitality, interior designing, fashion technology, photography, legal firms, Charted Accountancy and various other institutes of Science, Commerce & Humanities. School had guided the students too few of the prestigious companies and institutes like Gland Pharma, CCMB, BITS, NIMH, Adukia & Associates (CA), Mindspace Raheja Park, Sketch Design Studio to name a few.

Students are expected to work in the preferred organisations under the guidance of mentors deputed for 3 days. They are exposed to every detail of the organisation getting them closer to the realistic world. This helps them set their standards as they understand what can be expected from them when they join an organisation. Students uphold a report diary in which day to day activities are recorded in detail for submission and maintain a log of learning outcome.
