Hyderabad: A man stabbed his elder brother in a drunken state on Tuesday night under Gopalapuram police station limits. According to police, while both the brothers Sai Kumar and Santosh Kumar were consuming alcohol in their house in Regimental Bazaar on the occasion of Dasara festival, an argument rose between them over the family issues.
Angered Sai Kumar attacked and stabbed his elder brother in the stomach with a knife. Family members immediately shifted the seriously injured Santosh to the Gandhi Hospital where he succumbed on Wednesday while undergoing treatment. By taking the accused into their custody police are investigating.
