The Chief Minister is likely to urge the PM to extend a helping hand by releasing the Central funds since it is one of the stake holders.

It may be mentioned here that the Chief Minister during his interaction with TSRTC employees on Sunday stated that he will draw the attention of the Prime Minister towards the financial crisis the corporation was facing and will seek his help to make it a profit-making unit.

It is estimated that the Centre owed to the RTC a whopping Rs 20,000 crore as it holds 31 per cent share in the corporation.
