MRO's murder takes political colours in Hyderabad

Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) MLA from Ibrahimpatnam Assembly constituency Manchireddy Kishan Reddy on Wednesday alleged that the land belonging to the accused Suresh was in the possession of former MLA Malreddy Rangareddy and his family members.
The MLA was responding to the allegations made by former MLA Malreddy Rangareddy who earlier said that TRS MLA was involved in land grabbing. The TRS leader said that he would meet Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao and DGP M Mahendar Reddy and urge them to take up inquiry of the land deals regarding survey numbers 70 to 101.
Speaking to The Hans India, Manchireddy Kishan Reddy ruled out any connection with Suresh and lashed out at former MLA and Congress leader M Rangareddy for dragging his name into the controversy.
Kishan Reddy showed documents pertaining to the land and alleged that the purchases were in the name of Rangareddy and his family members. Kishan Reddy said Suresh's father Krishnaiah and his brother Durgaiah were owners of the land along with two Muslim individuals Habeeb and Shafeeq.
They sold the land to K Jaipal Reddy, Malreddy Divya, L Kavya, and Sai Tej Kumar. "There are two parties, Durgaiah and his brother and two Muslim individuals and Malreddy Rangareddy gave money to both the parties, which shows that he was aware of the irregularities," said Kishan Reddy.
Kishan Reddy further alleged that the Congress leader purchased remaining 1acre and 9 kuntas from Durgaiah later and also erected a compound wall in the land. "To hide their mistakes, they are making false allegations against me. He knows more about encroachments as he is an encroacher. I am speaking to expose him," said Kishan Reddy.
The Congress leader and his family members might have been pressurising Suresh for passbooks and hence he may have gone to the MRO, said Kishan Reddy and added the accused had no information that his parents had already sold the land.
The TRS leader recalled that about one and half years back, he took 60 families to the local Joint Collector when they sought his help and wanted the government to give away land possession to the families residing there.
