Zee TV owner Subhash Chandra has personally assured BJP leader Subramanian Swamy over a telephonic discussion that the Tamil web series ' Godman' would not be aired on his channel Zee 5.
Zee TV owner Subhash Chandra has personally assured BJP leader Subramanian Swamy over a telephonic discussion that the Tamil web series ' Godman' would not be aired on his channel Zee 5. The protest was raised to the level of Swamy by an outfit, Virat Hindustan, which is managed by an ex-IAS officer and Swamy's confidante Chandralekha.
As per Chandralekha, when she came to know about the promos regarding the series which had raised a din owing to its 'insulting treatment' to Hindu religion, she wanted that immediate action should be taken up to stop it. With his prompt action, Swamy, feared for his constant rub-ins with political rivals of all political parties has gained media traction as usual.
Starring Jayaprakash, Sonia Aggarwal and Daniel Balaji, the episodes were accused of being explicit and voyeuristic too.
