Mudragada writes letter to PM Modi over Kapu reservation

East Godavari: Kapu movement leader Mudragada Padmanabham has written a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

In the letter, the Kapu leader urged PM to approve the Kapu Reservation Bill 33/2017 which was passed in the AP Assembly by Chandrababu Naidu's government on 02-12-17 and sent to the Center. He added that for the past fifty years, the political parties in AP have taken Kapus votes and cheated over the reservation.

On the occasion, Mudragada Padmanabham has recalled that the 5% BC reservation bill given to Kapu community is pending at the Union Home Department. Through the letter, Mudragada appealed Prime Minister Modi to immediately clear the bill and support for the implementation of the Kapu reservation.
