260 navymen donate blood in Visakhapatnam

Visakhapatnam: As part of its fourth-anniversary celebrations, a blood donation camp was organised by INS Vishwakarma at Sagar Annexe, here on Thursday. With the theme focusing on 'Donate blood – save lives,' the camp saw good participation.

The camp was inaugurated by Commanding Officer, INHS Kalyani. Over 260 volunteers from the unit, including family members of the personnel and trainees from friendly foreign navies, came forward to contribute to the cause. The collected units of blood were handed over to NTR Trust Blood Bank.
