5-day training for APEPDCL circle level officers begin in Visakhapatnam

Visakhapatnam: The Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE), Andhra Pradesh State Energy Conservation Mission and APEPDCL commenced a five-day Training of Trainers programme for APEPDCL circle level officers.

The programme on 'Demand Side Management and Energy Efficiency' will continue till July 26. Director (Operations and Projects) APEPDCL K. Raja Bapaiah inaugurated the training programme. Speaking on the occasion, he said that such training programme helps in understanding the technical methods and improve efficiency at work.

Deputy Director of APERC Ramanayya Setti said that distribution of LED lamps, LED tubes, LED fans and electric cars would save energy and they contribute to energy efficiency methods. G Sarath Kumar, CGM (energy conservation) APEPDCL, PV Kiran Ananth, Principal Counsellor of CII also participated and spoke on the occasion. APEPDCL officers from five districts took part in the training programme.
