600 medicos take part in Games Meet for Women in Vizag

Visakhapatnam: The 21st Inter-Collegiate Games Meet for Women 2018-19 of Dr NTR University of Health Sciences (NTRUHS), Andhra Pradesh for women was inaugurated here on Saturday on GITAM Campus.

Around 600 medical college students from 28 medical and dental colleges participated in the inaugural ceremony.

Volleyball, basketball, badminton, tennis, table tennis, throw ball and chess, among other competitions will be held in the premises till Monday.

Registrar of NTRUHS S Appala Naidu, President of GITAM M Sri Bharat, Principal of GITAM Dental College K Gangadhara Prasad and Secretary of NTRUHS Sports Board E Thrimurthy were present at the inauguration.
