ALIET holds workshop on SQL programming

Vijayawada: The Computer Science department of Andhra Loyola Institute of Engineering and Technology (ALIET) organised a workshop 'SQL Programming' on the college premises on Saturday. The resource person for the workshop was G Prakash Chakravarthy, director of Pranav Academy.

He explained that a database management system stores, organises and manages a large amount of information within a single software application. It is a highly efficient method for handling multiple types of data. He further explained the students about the importance of database and how it is connected to the real world.

The workshop was organised under the guidance of assistant directors Rev Fr Chiranjeevi, Rev Fr Anand, principal Dr O Mahesh and computer science HoD Dr A Srinivas Rao. Faculty and students were present.
