Kakinada: AP Nayee Brahmin Association vice-president S Gopala Krishna urged the State government to provide gloves and masks to Nayee Brahmins working in various endowment temples in the wake of Coronavirus threat.

He said that the State government should supply gloves and masks to them. He alleged that taking advantage of the panic due to Coronavirus, pharmacies have been selling masks and gloves at higher prices.

They are unable to purchase the gloves and masks. He submitted representation to DRO Ch Sattibabu at Collectorate here on Thursday.

T Adinarayana, R Nageswar Rao and others were present on the occasion.
