Andhra Pradesh registers 618 new coronavirus cases and 6 deaths today
Coronavirus update in Andhra Pradesh
The coronavirus cases in Andhra Pradesh have been choppy since last month. The cases are varied accordingly with number of tests conducted. The state on Sunday reported 618 fresh cases taking the total tally to 20,47,459 cases across the state.
Meanwhile, the death toll has increased to 14,142 with 6 new deaths in the last twenty-four hours with two in Krishna and one each in East Godavari, Chittoor, Kadapa. On the other hand, as many as 1178 new patients were cured on Monday taking the total recoveries to 20,28,835 and there are currently 12,482 active cases.
According to district-wise data, Chittoor reported 122 new infections, followed by Nellore 100 cases, East Godavari 88 while Vizianagaram has logged least cases with 3 cases in the last twenty four hours. Andhra Pradesh conducted 2.80 Covid-19 tests across the state so far.
