AP Finance Dept gives explanation on delay in salaries

Amaravati: AP Finance Department has given an explaination on the delay of salaries to the government employees. It said that funds are not the reason for the delay and condemn the news which is circulating on social media.

It said usually, the payments are made on the first on every month through RBI e-Kuber. Accordingly, all districts pensions and salaries files have sent to RBI on 31 July.

And all pension payments were cleared, and few salaries files were paid infill by the afternoon of 1st August. The remaining files have got delayed because of the failure of the e-Seal certificates due to some technical reasons.

The Ministry has given the clarity that the required measures were taken to resolve the technical glitch and clear the payments of the remaining files.
