Army Jawan fires on girlfriend's mother for not accepting marriage in Guntur district

Guntur: In a freak incident, an Army Jawan opens fire on his girlfriend's mother over not accepting for their marriage in Nadimpalle village at Cherukupalli mandal of Guntur district.

Going into details, an Army Jawan Balaji has opened fire on a woman named Rama Devi. Balaji was after victims daughter in the name of love, where she didn't accept for the wedding.

In this context, Balaji was angry on her, went to her home and tried to kill her by firing with a country-made gun on Saturday morning. In the incident, Rama Devi sustained a bullet injury to her right ear and managed to escape from him.

The locals who heard the gun sound immediately reached the house and Balaji flew away from the spot. Upon receiving the information, the police arrived at the crime site, registered a case and arrested an auto driver how supported the accused and investigating further.
