Vijayawada: K Seshadri, senior scientist, ISRO, National Remote Sensing Centre, Hyderabad, has said that the engineering students have a wide scope for utilising the applications developed by the National Remote Sensing Centre (NRSC) for their research specially in the field of Electronics and Communications, Computer Sciences, Civil Engineering and other branches of engineering.

He was the chief guest at a seminar on recent trends and modern technologies in civil engineering organised by the Department of Civil Engineering of MVR College of Engineering in Vijayawada on Thursday.

Speaking on the occasion, he said that they were 80 per cent successful in identifying groundwater resources prospectus across the country on earth by the National Remote Sensing Centre.
