Awareness camp on bone health held

Tirupati: An awareness camp on bone health awareness for diabetic patients was conducted by Harshitha hospital and Model Diagnostic Centre here on Saturday. It was included free Glycated haemoglobin (HbA1c) tests for patients also.

The Convener of IMA Standing Committee on Diabetes Control Dr P Krishna Prasanthi and Diabetic foot specialist Dr S Harinath Reddy took part in the camp and created awareness.

About 100 patients participated in the camp and underwent bone mineral density and HbA1c tests.

The doctors said that everyone irrespective of their age should take nutritious food, green leaves and millets and do exercise regularly to be healthy.
