Basant Kumar appointed as JEO, TTD

Amaravati: State government appointed P. Basant Kumar, IAS, as Joint Executive Officer, Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams, Tirupati on Monday. He has been serving as Metropolitan Commissioner, Visakhapatnam Metropolitan Region Development, Authority (VMRDA) at present.

K.S. Sreenivasa Raju, IAS, who is the present JEO of TTD is directed to report to General Administration Department, immediately for further posting.

Sreenivasa Raju has been continuing on the same post for more than 8 years. Even though the governments changed, the Sreenivasa Raju managed to continue on the same post. But now, Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has directed the officials to transfer him. Chief Secretary LV Subrahmanyam issued transfer orders on Monday.
