Be prepared for local body polls, CPI leaders tell cadre

Kakinada: CPI Andhra Pradesh state council member Ravula Venkayya called upon the party cadre and leaders to prepare themselves for the for the forthcoming local body polls in the state.

Addressing the party cadre at AITUC office here on Thursday, the senior leader said that in order to bring in new alignment of political force, the CPI, CPM, Jana Sena and BSP strived hard in AP. But our effort did not get the approval of people so, let us strive for it again, he said.

CPI district unit secretary Tatipaka Madhu and party leader P Ramu and others attended the meeting.
