Bed sheets donated to flood victims: Commissioner P Venkatesh

Vijayawada: Municipal commissioner P Venkatesh distributed bed sheets, saris, towels, food items and fruits to the flood victims at the IGMC stadium on Tuesday. The bed sheets and saris were donated by Hotel Owners Association, CREDAI, Trendset Shopping Mall, R and R Grand Hotels, Robin Hood Army and VIP Walkers Association.

The donors have also donated toothpastes, toothbrushes, soaps, fruits and biscuits. Nearly, 1,000 people belonging to 300 families are staying at the IGMC stadium and the Municipal Corporation School in Krishnalanka. The victims thanked the donors and the municipal commissioner for the helping hand.
