Bhimavaram: 3 Vishnu students win medals in karate

Bhimavaram: Three students of Vishnu School secured medals in the under-17 state-level karate competitions organised by Kiyo Japan Shotokan Karate Association, India at Penugonda on October 20, according to school management.

While Class VIII girl Radha Sarayu won gold medal, Class VII student Jaivenkatesh scored gold and Class VI student Jayant Verma captured silver medal in the competitions. About 600 students from various schools participated in the competitions, said the principal.

Vishnu educational institutions chairman Vishnuraju and others complimented the winners and coach N Nageswararao.
