British Deputy High Commissioner visits Sri City

Tirupati: Dr Andrew Fleming, British Deputy High Commissioner, Andhra Pradesh & Telangana, accompanied by a team of senior officials, visited Sri City on Tuesday.

Managing Director Ravindra Sannareddy briefed them on the infrastructure, unique features such as sustainability, green efforts, etc., and the brisk pace of development in Sri City. He said, "As the 6th largest economy in the world and as the most improved country on the World Bank Ease of Doing Business Index, India is now firmly placed as a very attractive investment destination."

Dr Fleming has said that it was impressive to know that seven British companies are operating from Sri City. These companies bring UK expertise to this part of the country, a classic example of UK-India business partnership.
