Burglars strike 3 houses, decamp with booty

Kurnool: Burglars have broken into three houses at Kovelakuntla and Sanjamala mandals and decamped with cash, gold and other valuable articles. The gang entered a house in Sanjamala and decamped with Rs 2 lakh cash. Owner was not present when the burglary occurred. The burglars broke into two houses at Gandhi Nagar in Kovelakuntla.

They robbed Rs 12,000 cash and camera from the house of one Balachandrudu and Rs 2,000 from the residence of Rambabu. When burglaries took place, the house owners were not present as they have gone to their relative's villages after locking the house.

Coming to know about burglaries, house owners lodged a complaint with police. On receiving the complaint, the police reached the house and inspected the scene of offences. Fingerprint experts and dog squad pressed to find the identity of burglars.
