Central government responds to three capitals, says it won't intervene in the state's matter

Despite the ongoing stir against the proposal of three capital in Andhra Pradesh, the central government headed by Prime minister Narendra Modi has responded to it. It made clear that the centre has no stakes in the capital of the state as it is entirely the decision of the state government. In reply to TDP MP Galla Jayadev in the Lok Sabha, Minister of state for home affairs Nityanand Rai on Tuesday concluded in a written reply that the state has the power to allocate capital to its wish and centre has no connection with it.

The Andhra Pradesh government has decided to moot three capitals to decentralize the development and administration and passed the resolution in the state assembly. While the TDP was opposing the move of the government and launched an agitation against the three capitals. It is in this backdrop, MP Galla Jayadev raised the issue in the Lok Sabha. But the Center said it would not interfere in the state's matter.
