CM to inaugurate Village Secretary system today

Kakinada: Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy will inaugurate Grama Sachivalayalu system at Karapa on Wednesday. He will arrive I n Karapa by 10.30 am and unveil a pylon for the programme by 10.50 am and go to Grama Sachivalayam office at ZP High School Grounds and address a public meeting at 10.55 am.

He will visit stalls arranged at the meeting place and interact with the Village Secretariat staff. He will hand over appointment orders along with ID cards to a Gram Secretary and a Ward Secretary.

The Class X student of Ramavaram Zilla Parishad High School Harshitha will give presentation on Navartnam concept with four lakh pearls and a Class VI student Saikiran will exhibit 2,700 paper cuttings of Jagan Mohan Reddy padayatra. The Chief Minister will take a pledge on plastic ban at the meeting.

District Collector D Muralidhar Reddy said that a total 30,558 volunteers out of 24,478 for Grama Sachivalayams and 5,980 for Ward Sachivalayams were appointed for rendering services to 14,93,892 families, covering 52.86 lakhs population.
