Collector inspects residential school

Guntur: District Collector I Samuel Anand Kumar made surprise visit to Balayogi Gurukula (Boys) Residential School at Karempudi in Guntur district on Saturday. He interacted with the students and enquired about quality of meals served to the students.

He inspected classrooms, bathrooms and drinking water facility in the school. Later, he had lunch with the students. He expressed ire on the principal for not cooking the rice properly. He said the government is supplying quality rice to the hostels to serve quality food to the students.

He directed the officials to set up fans in the school. He instructed the teachers to impart training to the students to speak English language fluently and said he will visit again after one month.
