Srikakulam: Differences among YSRCP leaders have come to fore in Amudalavalasa Assembly segment represented by Assembly Speaker Tammineni Sitaram.

According to sources, Tammineni Sitaram is unable to coordinate with leaders at mandal and village level, particularly in Ponduru mandal within the Amudalavalasa segment as four different groups have been prevailed for the last one year.

Prime reason for the surfacing of differences among YSRCP leaders is after Sitaram elevated as Speaker of Legislative Assembly, he is neglecting leaders and cadres who worked for his win in the elections and giving priority to others.

Another reason for differences is the Speaker suppressing other leaders in the segment for sake of his son Tammineni Chiranjivi Nag alias Nani's elevation.

Particularly in Ponduru mandal, where the opposition TDP is also having grip on the mandal, four different groups are prevailing within the ruling YSRCP. Some leaders belonging to Ponduru mandal centre in TDP recently joined YSRCP formed another wing and another two groups are prevailing in Kalinga community, for which Speaker belonged to same community. In villages also different groups are prevailing within YSRCP in Ponduru mandal who are working against each other regarding Naadu-Nedu works, irrigation canals' works and selection of beneficiaries for house sites for poor, to get road contract works and also for village sarpanch posts. As Speaker Tammineni Sitaram is unable to settle the issues and depending on mandal level leaders who are acting for their own sake and to protect their groups which is leading to surfacing rifts among leaders and cadres. Three days ago YSRCP leaders representing for separate groups entered into wordy dual in presence of Speaker T Sitaram at Ponduru agriculture market committee office campus during swearing in ceremony of agriculture market committee (AMC).
