Election control room opened in Eluru

Eluru: A district-level election control room for ZPTC, MPTC, municipal and grama panchayat polls was opened at the Collectorate here. West Godavari District Collector R Muthyala Raju inaugurated the control room.

Speaking on the occasion, he said information relating to ZPTC, MPTC, municipal and gram panchayat elections should be collected from this control room. The control room will be equipped with sufficient staff, computers and furniture. DRO Srinivasa Murthy, ZP CEO Srinivas and other officials were present at the inaugural function.
