Finish JNNURM housing works by March 15, officials told

Vijayawada: Municipal Corporation Commissioner Prasanna Venkatesh asked the Engineering and Town Planning officials to complete the pending works of the houses related to JNNURM.

He reviewed the progress of the works underway at RR Pet, Kabela centre, Jakkampudi and Ajit Singh Nagar here on Tuesday. The officials informed the commissioner that works are under progress relating to 1920 housing units in Ajit Singh Nagar, 192 units in RR Pet, 384 units at Kabela and 640 units at Jakkampudi. He told the officials to provide infrastructure facilities like roads, side drains and complete the works by March second week.
