Fund sanctioned for renovation of Venkateswara Swamy temple at Thotapalli

Thotapalli(Vizianagaram): Renovation works for Thotapalli Venkateswara Swamy temple have begun. The temple is well known in Vizianagaram and Srikakulam districts. It is located in on the bank of Nagavali river in Garugubilli mandal.

Tt was glorious. But for the past few years, the number of devotees visiting it has come down because of lack of facilities. The previous governments had not taken step for renovation of the temple.

The YSRCP government has now sanctioned Rs 5.5 crore for the renovation of the temple. On Wednesday Deputy Chief Minister P Pushpasrivani visited the temple and inaugurated the development works. She said the temple would get a new look. The funds were allotted for the construction of various buildings here. Cottages, Kalyanakatta and main gate, including steel barricades and buildings, would be constructed, the Deputy Chief Minister said.
