Guntur: Budget will accelerate development: Kanna Lakshminarayana

Guntur: BJP State president Kanna Lakshminarayana said on Saturday that the Union Budget presented by by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman on Saturday for the financial year 2020-21 would accelerate development of the nation. He said the BJP-led NDA government has given equal priority to development and welfare schemes in the Budget.

"This Budget is useful to the farmers and middle class and development of infrastructure in the country. The Budget will generate employment opportunities. Meanwhile, Guntur-Krishna districts Graduates Constituency MLC K S Lakshmana Rao said the Union Budget disappointed the people and it is useful to the corporate companies. The Centre did not allot any funds to keep up assurances mentioned in the AP Reorganisation Act.

No steps have been taken to generate employment opportunities. The Centre has failed to take steps to overcome economic slowdown in the country. This budget is not useful for the people." MLC Dokka Manikya Vara Prasad said the Centre had shown empty hand to AP in the Union Budget.
