Guntur: Low turnout of devotees at temple

Guntur: Sri Venkateswara Swamy temple at Brudavan Gardens here opened for devotees to have Darshan of Lord Sri Venkateswara Swamy on Monday nearly after seventy days.

The Devasthanam authorities conducted thermal screening test at the entry point and allowed the devotees who wore masks into the temple. They gave sanitizer to the devotees to clean their hands.

Meanwhile, the Devasthanam authorities performed regular pujas to the presiding deity Sri Lord Venkateswara Swamy in the temple. Devotee rush was very much less on Monday due to outbreak of Covid-19. Devasthanam authorities are feeling that devotee rush will increase slowly. Due to lockdown, devotees were not allowed into temples.
