Inculcate discipline among boarders, HWOs told Collector

Anantapur: District Collector S Sathyanarayana has instructed the Hostel Welfare Officers (HWOs) to mark the attendance to boarders either through biometric or Irish device as per guidelines of the State government.

He made these remarks while addressing a meeting with officials of all welfare departments here on Friday. He directed HWOs to inculcate the habit of disciplined lifestyle among boarders and to improve academic results. HWOs should play a vital role to transform a normal student into a responsible citizen, he added.
