Korukonda : Rs 1 crore sanctioned for ghat road to Venkateswara Swamy temple

Korukonda : Jaggampeta MLA Jyothula Chantibabu said that the government has sanctioned an amount of Rs 1 crore for the strengthening of ghat road to Venkateswara Swamy temple of Tantikonda.

Distributing house site pattas to the beneficiaries at Tantikonda on Wednesday, he said that additional funds will be sanctioned for the development of the ghat road, if necessary. The temple will be developed on all fronts as number of devotees visiting the temple was increasing year by year, he added.

Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy created record by giving house site pattas to 30 lakh beneficiaries in the state. Houses will be constructed freely to the beneficiaries as per their option, he averred.

The long pending demand of poor people came to reality after many years, he added. Tahsildar K Posibabu, Agriculture department assistant director BKM Rao, YSRCP leaders JHS Rao, V Prasad, D Ramesh, S Veera Babu and others were present.
