Large scale transfers of TTD officials in pipeline

Tirupati: The state government is planning to take up transfers of TTD officials on a large scale. Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy and his adviser Ajay Kallam are examining the names of several senior IAS officers for TTD new EO and JEOs at Tirumala and Tirupati.

After the state government, TTD is having the largest number of employees. There were three IAS officers' posts and one IPS officer post in the organisation. These posts are being filled up by the state government with the IAS officers on deputation periodically. Already state level and district level IAS, IPS transfers were completed. Now the government has started an exercise on transfer of TTD officials, including top officials.

At present TTD EO AnilKumar Singhal, Tirumala JEO SinivasaRaju and Tirupati JEO B Laksmikantham are working in top administrative positions. K SrinivasRaju has completed more than 8 years service in TTD as hill shrine JEO and EO AnilKumar Singhal completed his two years term. And Tirupati JEO B Lakshmikantham will be retired on June 30 from service.

In this context state Government is planning to post new IAS officers in the place of Anilkumar Singhal and SrinivasaRaju and B Laksmikantham. In addition, CVSO Gopinath Jetti transfer is also anticipated. Similarly, after TTD board members appointment, more than 100 DYEOs and AEOs including six deputy collector cadre officials transfers will be taken up shortly.

The new TTD Board Chief YV SubbaReddy had announced a few days ago that total administration will be reshuffled to provide better services to pilgrims. Anticipating large scale transfers, some senior IAS officers are lobbying at government level for top posts.
