Rajamahendravaram: Lockdown applies to containment, buffer zones: Collector D Muralidhar Reddy

Rajamahendravaram: District Collector D Muralidhar Reddy said that lockdown is applicable only in certain areas, containment zones and buffer zones, but not in the entire district. Accompanied by Joint Collectors G Rajakumari and Chekuri Keerthi, he inspected Covid -19 Care Center in Bommuru, Rajamahendravram on Wednesday. Collector examined the laboratories, pharmacy and medical equipment in the Covid -19 Care center.

While speaking to the media, Reddy said that the government has taken the precautionary measures to curb the coronavirus in the district. He said that two more Covid -19 care centers in Amalapuram and Kakinada will be set up in the district.

Reliance Company representative P Subrahmanyam presented the District Collector with 1000 plastic chairs to facilitate staff and patients at the Bommuru Covid -19 Care center. Urban SP Shimoshi Bajpayee, Trainee Collector Aparajita and others were present.
