Addanki (Prakasam district): Energy Minister Gottipati Ravikumar emphasised that the state government is developing public schools to be on par with private educational institutions. The distribution was done with the cooperation of Italian-based NGOs, ISP and Assist.

He highlighted that with the aim of further strengthening public school education, the coalition government has filled over 16,300 teacher posts through the District Selection Committee (DSC) despite the state’s financial constraints.

He revealed that over 5,100 students from various high schools within the Addanki constituency, including students from Addanki Junior College, have so far received free bicycles. He credited industrial and business groups, donors, and CSR funds for making this significant initiative possible. Later at Narasaraopet in Palnadu district, In-charge Minister Gottipati Ravikumar, along with local MLA Aravind Babu and MP Krishnadevarayalu, laid the foundation stone for a newly constructed bitumen road near Uppalapadu village in the constituency.
