MLC poll counting today

Kakinada: East Godavari Collector and RO of East and West Godavari Graduate MLC election called upon the contested candidates and their agents to extend their cooperation during the counting process on Tuesday.

Addressing the candidates at a meeting organised at district Collectorate on Monday, Kartikeya Mishra said that the RO is the authority to supervise the counting process. But due to scrutiny of nominations for general elections, the AROs of both the districts will supervise the counting process.

The Collector said that necessary arrangements have been made for the counting at Ranga Raya Medical College, the counting centre in Kakinada. Contested candidates I Venkatesara Rao, A Venkateswara Rao and others participated.
