MP Putta inspects govt hospital

Eluru: MP Putta Mahesh Kumar made a surprise inspection at Eluru Government Hospital on Monday night. The MP, who arrived at Eluru Government Hospital at 11.30 pm, visited all the departments for about 45 minutes and spoke to several patients and inquired about the treatment they were receiving.

The MP, who personally gave visiting cards with his phone number to several patients and their attendants, advised them to call him directly if they did not receive proper treatment or faced any problems at the hospital.

The MP, who inspected the services provided in the ICU and emergency departments, checked the duty register at night and inquired about the details of the doctors and other hospital staff on duty.

While interacting with doctors and nurses, the nursing staff brought to the attention of the MP the shortage of medical staff in the government hospital. The MP assured them that he would talk to the government and health department officials and try to resolve the shortage of staff.
