Nagarjuna new chairman of DCCB

Vizianagaram: In a ceremonial event held at a function hall here on Sunday, Kimidi Nagarjuna officially took charge as the Chairperson of the District Cooperative Central Bank (DCCB). The oath of office was administered by DCCB CEO Umamaheswara Rao.

Addressing the gathering, Nagarjuna expressed his commitment to strengthening the agricultural sector and supporting farmers through the cooperative banking system. He vowed to work tirelessly for the growth and development of the DCCB, emphasising his dedication to upholding the highest standards of integrity in his role.

“As Chairperson, I will fulfill the responsibilities entrusted to me with dedication. I will protect and promote the DCCB branches and organization with a clear conscience and sincere intent. Expanding the bank’s services and adhering to top-quality standards will be my foremost priorities,” Nagarjuna stated. In another development, Gompa Krishna formally assumed office as the Chairman of the District Cooperative Marketing Society (DCMS) Limited in Vizianagaram on the same day.

The official handover was completed by DCMS District Manager Saikumar, who obtained the necessary signatures from the newly appointed Chairman.

Speaking to the media, Krishna made a significant announcement that he would not accept the honorarium or any allowances provided by the government for his role as Chairman. “My goal is to ensure that the benefits of DCMS reach a wider population,” he stated. “I will strive to improve the organisation’s revenue and work tirelessly to make its services accessible to more people,” Krishna said.
