Nellore: Vexed with official's attitude, woman attempts suicide at collectorate

Nellore: A woman from Pellakur Mandal who has been appealing to the officials for modifications in land records had attempted suicide in front of the Collectorate on Monday consuming pesticide.

Chintaluri Guravamma has been approaching the district officials for some time. She vexed with the lax attitude and finally attempted suicide on Monday while Spandana programme is going on.

Police observed Guravamma was unconscious due to consuming pesticide shifted her to the Government General Hospital for treatment and her condition is said to be stable.
