Painting summer camp from April 26
Ongole: MLA of Ongole, Damacharla Janardhana Rao, unveiled the brochure for a painting summer camp organised by Srushti Art Academy, at his office here on Thursday.
The Academy president, Timmiri Ravindra, explained that the 36-day training programme will begin on the April 26th at St Teresa High Schoolon Srinivasa Theatre Road. He said that the camp welcomes participants of all ages and will be organized into Junior, Senior, and Professional divisions.
He informed that the training will cover a wide range of techniques, including outline drawing, various types of painting methods such as spice painting, thumb painting, dot painting, collage works, and vegetable graphics. He said that the participants would also receive instruction in water colours, acrylic colours, and oil colours, and he announced that the programme would include training for participation in national and international painting competitions and exhibitions.
Ravindra announced that the training will be provided by mentors with 22 years of experience, including Thunugunta Nagamani, Timmiri Sirisha, and himself. MLA Damacharla Janardhana Rao congratulated the Srushti Cultural Society and Srushti Arts Academy for organising national and international level competitions, exhibitions, and summer camps in the field of painting for the past 22 years, as well as for achieving world records in painting. He encouraged them to continue organising more excellent programmes in painting in the future.
