Polavaram: 800 liters of jaggery wash destroyed

Polavaram: The prohibition and excise police raided an arrack preparation unit and destroyed 800 liters of jaggery wash at Jillelagudem village of the Mandal on Thursday.

Prohibition and Excise Circle Inspector of Police Satyanarayana said that they would take stern action against persons indulging in making of country liquor.

As the liquor would be prepared by mixing chemicals, it would be harmful for the boozers, he said.
