Proddaturu police seized Rs 24 lakh worth Saris, 3.50lakh cash

In a separate incident, police have seized Rs. 24 lakhs worth saris and Rs. 3.40lakh cash during vehicle checkup at Proddaturu on Thursday.

According to the official sources when police are conducting vehicle inspections at Kothapalli Check post in Proddaturu check post in Proddaturu rural Mandal they have noticed Rs 24 lakh worth saris being carried out in two cars towards Kadapa city. Police seized them as they have no proper bills.

In another incident, police seized Rs 3.50lakh cash at Mandi bazaar carrying in an auto. Police registered the case and are investigating.
