Rajamahendravaram: Phalguna Uttara Purnima Mahotsav organised

Rajamahendravaram: Lord Subrahmanya Swami’s Phalguna Uttara Purnima Mahotsava was celebrated at Pushkar Ghat with fervour on Sunday. People participated in Shula festival with great enthusiasm and women wearing yellow clothes, holding milk vessels participated in large numbers.

On the occasion, Kalasa installation and Swami Thiruveedhi Rathotsavam was held.

Rajahmundry MP and city constituency YSRCP candidate Margani Bharat Ram took part as the chief guest and said that may Subrahmanya Swamy’s blessings be upon everyone.

He said that he is very happy that men and women participated in a large scale and worshiped the lord with ecstasy.

From Pushkara Ghat, men wearing Shulas and women with milk vessels participated in the Thiruveedhi Rathotsavam.

The Rathotsavam proceeded through the main streets and junctions of the city and reached the Subrahmanya Swamy Temple at Burma colony.
