Rally to bring back dropout students

Vijayawada: Every child should study and the dropouts should come to school again, says Krishna District Collector Md Imtiaz. He flagged off the rally with the motive "Mana Badi ki Podam" here on Monday.

A large number of students holding placards actively participated in the programme. Speaking on the occasion, he said that Mana Badi ki Podam was an initiative to carry out a survey to identify and bring back to the school the children who have dropped out for various reasons.

He also said that not just dropouts, the survey would also identify kids who have not gone to school at all and initiate measures to take them into the school fold in the fresh academic year starting June.
