RPF members rescue infant abandoned in auto

Visakhapatnam: A couple abandoned their infant in an auto-rickshaw at Visakhapatnam railway station on Tuesday.

After spotting the baby, the Railway Protection Force (RPF) personnel informed the Kancharapalem police.

The infant was placed under the care of doctors at King George Hospital with the support of the Child Welfare members.

The police are trying to trace the parents of the child.
