RTA Officials Seize 23 Buses Of Diwakar Travels Owned by TDP Leader JC Diwakar Reddy

Amaravati: Former MP and TDP senior leader JC Diwakar Reddy received a major blow from transport officials. RTA officials seized the 23 buses belonging to Diwakar Travels on Thursday. Officers under the aegis of Transport Commissioner Sitaramanjaneyu and Joint Commissioner Prasad Rao have carried out inspections on Diwakar Travels buses which are against the rules.

Officials have identified and sealed 23 buses that are carrying passengers beyond the limits and charging high ticket prices at will.

"Also, 23 interstate carrier buses belonging to Divakar Travels have been cancelled. Similarly, many cases have been registered for violating regulations." Joint Commissioner Prasad Rao said.

However, there are many complaints received on Divakar Travels, which is part of the inspection and a full investigation is underway.
