Run for Jesus on April 20

Vijayawada: The 9th edition of 'Run for Jesus' will be organised on April 20. The run will commence from Bishop Azaraiah high school grounds, said coordinator S Jaya Kumar Babu. Addressing media here on Saturday, Jaya Kumar said till now they have organised 'Run for Jesus' eight times successfully and appealed to all Christian brethren to participate in huge number and make the 9th edition of the Run for Jesus programme a big success.

He said the run is organised to mark the Crucifixion and Resurrection of Jesus Christ. He said the run will proceed through Sikhamani Centre, Visalandhra Road, BRTS Road and conclude at the Lutheran Church grounds on Sambamurthy Road.

He said Bishop Rakshanandam, Rev D Devasahayam, Rev ME Jobe, Bishop G Yob, Siripuram Grittan, Rev T Prakash and others would participate in the run.
